The housing inventory in Cherokee County has recently been leveling off.
The housing inventory in Cherokee County is down from a year ago.
The number of houses sold has not changed much month over month or year over year.
Pending Contracts has not changed much month over month or year over year.

1206 - Cherokee Inventory solds

The Chart below shows the price trends for housing in Cherokee through June, 2012. 
Real Estate selling prices in Cherokee County hasn't changed much over the past year.
Housing prices in Cherokee County shows a sharp increase in June.
The listing prices are up year over year but has held fairly steady over the past three months.

The chart below shows that the price of around $70 pr. sq. ft. of housing hasn't changed much over the past year in Cherokee County. It was up sharply in June 2012.
The per. sq. foot selling price remains below replacement costs.
Investment-wise it does not make sense to build.

Recently it has sta bilized at just under 5 months of housing inventory.
Months of Cherokee housing inventory is an important indicator of likely price changes.
5 months of inventory implies a housing market that is close to balanced.
Prices in Cherokee may be stabilizing for now or going up.
